Our Pilates instructors are Chartered Physiotherapists and/or have trained under the quality control of the Body Control Pilates Institute. We offer 1:1 Pilates sessions and then encourage patients to progress into a class situation. Therefore allowing you to reach an advanced level of core stability for sports at one end of the spectrum. Or at the other end, to overcome debilitating pain so that you can exercise and strengthen your body to improve your quality of life.
Our Sports Massage therapist qualified under the Sports Massage Association. She is a member of the institute of Sports and Remedial Massage. She works closely with our physiotherapists to compliment their treatment, or independently to assess and treat your specific soft tissue problem.
Our Acupuncturist, Anne Ita Rodgers, trained in London and York and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She has undergone post-qualification training in Pulse Diagnosis, fertility treatment, obstetrics, and other women’s health issues, as well as pre-prepared Chinese herbal formulas. Acupuncture is an excellent adjunct to physiotherapy in the treatment of a wide variety of conditions. It is recommended by NICE, the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, for back pain and has been shown in clinical trials to improve outcomes in IVF treatment. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine are also effective in the treatment of other acute and chronic complaints, such as stress, fatigue, depression, allergies, and digestive disorders.
Our Podiatrist has completed a postgraduate certificate in Sports Podiatry, a postgraduate diploma in Sport & Exercise and is currently studying for his Masters degree in Sports Injury.
