Julie qualified with a first class degree from Brunel University in 1993.Julie worked at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, where she developed a specialism in hands and plastics. She then worked as a senior physiotherapist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Having gained a wealth of experience in musculoskeletal out-patients, she began to apply her skills in the private sector in 2002 and continues to enjoy the breadth and challenge of treating a range of out-patients.As a pilates teacher, qualified with The Body Control Pilates Association, she has been teaching classes around Hertfordshire for several years. With such relevant expertise, she is able to incorporate aspects of pilates into her physiotherapy, combining these two areas of knowledge to the benefit of the patient when appropriate. Pilates can be used for example, to help a range of patients, including those with women’s health issues, post injury and post operatively, to help make the transition from treatment to full fitness.
Julie enjoys yoga, walking and dancing. She also has an interest in feldenkrais.
