Paula’s yoga practice has spanned over an 18 year period. Having trained with YogaCampus one of the UK’s top yoga teacher training courses, her practice combines a relaxed asana style using flow and dynamic sequencing but with a very strong emphasises on body alignment, breath and mind to help us find our true homoeostasis. Combining the elements of creative movement and energetic sequencing, Paula’s yoga classes are suitable for students of different abilities and levels.
Paula teaches a dynamic flow style practice based on her experiences and training from her teachers, Michael Stone, Richard Freeman, Doug Keller and Zephyr WIldman and combines various disciplines including, Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga to deliver a non-dogmatic approach to her yoga classes.
As well as the physical side to Yoga Asana, Paula has a great interest in integrating psychology, yogic philosophy and more subtle energetic effects to encourage the opening of the mind as well as the limbs.
Her aim is to encourage students to experience and explore the richness and benefits of what yoga has to offer and to challenge themselves physically, mentally and spiritually, while maintaining a sense of happiness, self-appreciation and enthusiasm in their practice.
